TAMBUNAN: Pupils of SK Kirokot have been making the best of what they have, or rather do not have – a school canteen.
Come recess time, they would have their packed-from-home meals on the floor, or more comfortably under some trees outside.
It was learnt that the school management had submitted an application for a canteen but until the funds are channeled the rural pupils will have to continue making the best of the basics.
SK Kirokot is located along the Tambunan-Ranau highway.
