Keningau: A 51-year-old school van driver was killed in a collision involving three school vans at Km3, Jalan Keningau-Nabawan, near Kg Ansip, here, on Monday.
Sabni Dali died on the spot due to serious bodily injuries, including several broken ribs, in the 5.55pm mishap.
Five people inside the victim's van were also slightly injured while only one person was injured in the remaining vans but their identities have yet to be ascertained.
District Police Chief, DSP Zahari Mohamed, said the victim lost control of his van and slammed it into the rear of the van that had stopped at a traffic intersection. The second van then crashed into the last van making a turn.
